The thematic training will discuss the EU’s approach and support to peacebuilding efforts in partner countries. It will further explore the notion of EU funding in support of local civil society organisations-led peacebuilding actions and inclusion of diverse societal groups in peacebuilding (women, youth).

Guest speaker at the thematic training will be Ben Moore, Assistant Director at European Peacebuilding Liaison Office (EPLO), in charge of Civil Society Dialogue Network, EPLO membership, Funding for peacebuilding Working Group.

The event will be followed by a Working Group EU Funding meeting that will provide a debrief of the thematic training and discuss the WG’s activities and policy objectives.
